The presentation below is intended for people interested in Perceptual Control Theory, who want to learn more about hierarchical control and Powers’ proposed 11 levels of perceptual control.
The artwork and descriptions are by Eva de Hullu, based on Powers’ work, her own imagination and discussions with Ger Schurink.
The intention of this work is not to be complete or comprehensive: it is to get a grip on how hierarchical control works and how thinking in levels of perceptual control allows us to make sense of our experience.
I welcome your comments.
